Hello again dears!
Today I present to you… Lady Anne’s 1740s Dress! This is inspired by English mantua gowns from that era.
NOTES:
- Fem Frame, Adults to Elders
- verts:9739/polys:11579
- 58 swatches/solid & patterned/color tags
- PSD for solids & PSD for patterns included
- Disabled for Situation, Disabled for Random
UPDATED AS OF MAY 8TH, 2026!
- Polycount updated – a few hundred FEWER verts/polys! Yay!
- Weights/boob issue updated/fixed!
- UV map updated/fixed!
- Swatches COMPLETELY overhauled! PSDs updated.
- SAME FILE NAME, so just download this new file and drop it into your Mods folder; hit “Yes” when prompted if you want to replace the original.
CREDITS:
- Skirt and bodice from Sifix’s Desdemona dress, sleeves from Sifix’s Maria dress.
- Palette is based off my Georgian/Federal palette.
- Patterns are chinoiserie & block-printed indienne, many of which were patterns you might’ve found on dresses at the time.
- Textures were from Sifix’s dresses, some also painted by me; patterns were from Pinterest/wallpaper & fabric reproduction sites.
- I DID include some colors/patterns that uhhhh may not be historically accurate, but if I wanted 100% historical accuracy, I wouldn’t be playing Sims.
